A founding member of [[Lyondemere]], Mistress Giesele was elevated to the Laurellate at the [[First Coronation Festival 1978|First Coronation Festival of Caid on June 3,1978]], where, according to contemporary event reports, she actually had to be brought forth from the kitchen, where she was preparing the feast, to be elevated. Giesele later resigned from the Order of the Laurel, her resignation was accepted by the Board of Directors in 1986.
