Throughout each reign, a number of Queen's Champions Tournaments are held in the various extant martial arts and other forms, and the winner is declared Queen's Champion (QC) for that particular form for the duration of that reign. The more modern declaration is Consort's Champions used by male and non-binary consorts. The consort decides the  declaration they wish to be used during their reign.
