Order of the Laurel

(Tinctureless) A laurel wreath.

Companionship in the Order of the Laurel is granted to those who have excelled in the arts or sciences. Members of this order are often referred to as "Laurels".

This order is a Polling Order.

"Laurel" is also the title of a Sovereign of Arms, the highest-ranking officer of the Society College of Arms.
