Sovereign of Arms

The Society Sovereigns of Arms are the officers in charge of the Corporate-wide College of Arms. Originally, there was just one - Laurel Sovereign of Arms. To this was added a chief deputy, Clarion Sovereign of Arms. Eventually, the office of Laurel was divided into three parts - Laurel for administration of the College of Arms, Pelican for the registration of names, and Wreath for the registration of armory. Several subjects of Caid have served as Sovereigns of Arms for the Society College of Arms.
