Great Western War is Caid's major multi-Kingdom war held annually in October in the Shire of Wintermist. It was announced in 2024, at Great Western War XXVI, that the war would be moved to early November starting in 2025.
The original site was Prado Park in the Barony of Dreiburgen (Chino, CA). The Park underwent major repairs in 2006, so no war was held that year. In 2007, the war was moved to Buena Vista Aquatic Recreational Area, in Taft, CA, in the Shire of Wintermist.
