Golden Rose
The title of Golden Rose was registered in May 1978 and was originally assigned to Bevin Fraser of Stirling as the "protocol" herald where she was responsible for the writing of the kingdom’s ceremonies. When Hrorek Halfdane of Faulconwood became Crescent Principal Herald, the office in charge of ceremonies was eliminated. The title of Golden Rose was later assigned to the herald who served as the Keeper of the Order of Precedence for the Kingdom. Although the herald assigned this title usually was responsible for the Order of Precedence, the Crescent Principal Herald has also assigned it as a general staff title in the past.
Currently, Golden Rose Herald serves as the personal herald of the Crown of Caid for the duration of Their reign, replacing Crescent Principal Herald from that responsibility. The Courtesy Herald maintains a list of all heralds who may be chosen for this position. The responsibility of maintaining the Kingdom's Order of Precedence was then assigned to the Recorder Herald.
The title refers to the golden roses in the arms of the Queen of Caid. All historical information provided was originated from Master Hrorek's article on the history of Caid's heraldic titles.
