Duchess Faizah al-Zarqa prefers the alternative transliteration "Faizeh al-Zarqa". Duchess Faizeh has been in the SCA since 2000 with her husband Sir [[Andrew Baird]]. She is the Lady of the household [[Kabila al-Raqs B’Saif]], and it is her goal to turn everyone to the Sparkly Side and become Central Asian. She derives a great amount of joy out of learning period styles of Islamic and Central Asian dance, and sharing her knowledge with others.  She is Apprenticed to Mistress [http://m.atenveldt.org/FullOP/memid/1756 Jadi Fatima al-Ishfahani al-Samarkandiyya].
