Avant Courier

The Avant Courier is the former name for the office now performed by the Media Liaison. The office was originally created to help control some of the publicity about the Kingdom.

An "Avant Courier" was a person who walked or rode ahead of a procession to give notice that the main party of travellers was approaching.
