The Kingdom of Caid invites the populace to join in celebration of Great Western War’s 26th Anniversary. As we head into war, consider “What tale will you tell” as you add yours to the Great Western War Saga for the history books! Any story from GWW I through this year, GWW XXVI, is fair game! REGISTRATION INFORMATION: Online registration with land allocation is available for all who register and pay before 11:59 pm Saturday, September 7, 2024. Online registration with no land allocation will be available through 11:59 pm Saturday, September 21, 2024. Most people registering with no land allocation will camp in one of the dedicated “Open Camping” areas, wherein camp setup is based on a first come, first choice basis.
Payment for online registrations may be made via PayPal or Mail-in (check or money order made payable to “SCA, Inc, Kingdom of Caid-GWW “ and mail to: GWW Registration, c/o K.LaSelle, 9217 Penmar Rd., Santee, CA 92071). ALL payments must be received before 11:59 PM 9/21/2024 for you to be considered “pre-registered.” Refund information can be found on the GWW website at https://places.sca-caid.org/gww/refund/.
In-person registration will be available on site starting 12pm (noon) on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. Only PayPal or cash will be accepted at Gate, no checks.
Adult Event Registration: Tuesday–Thursday arrival: $100. Friday–Sunday arrival: $90. Day Pass: $50
Youth Event Registration (15-17): Tuesday–Thursday arrival: $45. Friday–Sunday arrival: $40. Day Pass: $20

ACTIVITIES: Activities will include fighting, youth combat, equestrian, merchants, bardic, and a Medieval Fashion Show.

Finalized schedules will be posted on the website & social media outlets as they are ready. The Artisan Showcase will be held on Friday October 11th from 2-4pm.

DIRECTIONS: Take your favorite route to Interstate 5. Take exit 244 for CA-119/Taft Highway and head west about 1.7 miles. Follow CA-119 W and Golf Course Rd to Ironbark Rd. At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit onto CA-119 and go for 3.4 mi. Turn left onto Golf Course Rd/Tupman Rd for about 1.8 mi. Turn left onto Ironbark Rd, the destination will be on the left.
