Countess Lorissa du Griffin, OP was born into the SCA in April 1967. A member of the Barony of [[Angels]] and [[Griffin Freehold]], she has the distinction of being the youngest monarch in the SCA when she reigned as Princess of Caid at age 10. In 1985, Lorissa moved to Atenveldt for 3 years where she resided in the Barony of Atenveldt. She moved back to Caid in 1988, then went to school in the [[West]] Kingdom in 1990. In 1998 Lorissa was happy to return home to Caid. She was active in the Barony of [[Altavia]] and reactivated [[Griffin Freehold]], now more than 25 members strong. She and her husband Lord [[Jason ap Griffin]], an accomplished chef, are active in the Kingdom as well as Altavia and Angels. They also serve as wait staff to their two dogs.
