Pagus Sancti Geronimi's Saint Geronimus Tourney

March 14, 2004

Come join the Pagus Sancti Geronimi as we celebrate a new discovery in the chronicles of Saint Geronimus. We have recently discovered that our glorious patron had a fondness for mathematics. So on this day, we shall celebrate his favorite mathematical element: pi.

Celebrations shall include making a pi-necklace and a helm auction, as well as a compitition to draw the perfect circle, pi-trivia, and a perfect “pi” contest with the remains feeding the populace after the competition.

In addition there shall be the traditional competitions. Fighting will be round robin for the rapiers and double elimination for the heavies. As well as the traditional nose and tissue melees.

Schedule for the Day

  • 8:00am Site Opens
  • 10:00am Opening Court
  • 4:00pm Closing Court
