Fighting demo held in conjunction with Tolkien Conference III/Mythcon I
The first Mythopoeic Society conference, known as Mythcon 1, was held at Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, California, from September 4-7, 1970. The event was organized by the Mythopoeic Society and featured C.S. Kilby as the Guest of Honor. Glen GoodKnight was the Chairman. Mythopoeic Society History
The SCA chapter at Harvey Mudd was once known as the College of Boethius in the former Shire of Heatherwyne.
Pwyll pen Tyrhon and Rhiannon of the Mystic Isle are founding Baron and Baroness of Angels; William of York was the first Seneschal.
