This special Collegium (under the guidance of the Collegium Caidis) will feature extensive instruction in several areas of Period dance. The site will be the Oddfellows Hall. Doors open at 8:00am, with instruction beginning at 9:00 am:
- Beginning, intermediate and advanced Court dance
- Beginning and intermediate Country dance
- Intro to Morris Dance
- Intro to Greek Folk Dance
- A general history of pre-1600 dance
- Lord Brock's Dance Etiquette
A general fee of $5.00 will cover the day's instruction. You may sign up for as many classes as you wish.
Instruction will continue until 5:00 in the afternoon, wherein we shall retire for a short evening sup (restaurant maps will be available). At the ringing of 7:00 we shall return to our hall in order to dance a magnificent festival, indeed all that we have learned through the day. We will tire many a musician. The revel, hosted by Lord Duncan Brock, will be free to those who participated during the day's instruction, and a mere $1.00 for those poor unfortunates who missed all the fun, Ave Maria, and wold like to join us anyway.
