Merrymakers of GyldenholtRRE received the Royal Recognition of Excellence on 10/23/1994 from TRM Gar and Ristil. Under the direction of Duchess Diana de Savigny, they provided live SCA-period instrumental music at many events, in particular at revels. One of the favorite tunes was the Calafian Bransle (historically known as the Maltese Bransle or "Schiarazula Marazula") which sped up as the dance progressed.
