[Perhaps a bit of explanaton is in order. The Canton of Gorgonoth, in Riverside County, is technically part of the Barony of the Angels. Its inhabitants are said to be mostly exiled Calafians. The Canton is sufficiently removed from both Baronies that it plans and holds its events more or less independently. Someday the Principality of the South will get it all together.]
The Canton of Gorgonoth will hold a tournament on Saturday, May 12, from 11 am or thereabouts till dusk. It will be held in Fairmount Park in Riverside. To get there (directions omitted). There will be no cooking contest. Alys von Markheim will be autocrat.
Actual Event Information
The tourney was held at Fairmont Park in Riverside, CA. There were lists for the First Dragon-Slayer of Gorgonoth as well as:
- Other fighting
- Games
- The 2nd Barbed Pheon (punning) contest, won by Christina Jehanne de Bruges, after which she was admitted to the Order of the Barbed Pheon
- Bread Baking contests for White, Dark and Other categories
- Non-Alcoholic Beverages
Lord Thomas of the Double Axe became Master of Sciences.
A revel followed in the evening.
