Lyondemere and the El Segundo Parks and Recreation Department are sponsoring a demo in Library Park, El Segundo, on Sunday 3 August XV.
Events include a fashion show, fighting demonstrations, and dancing, possibly to live music, provided by the Palos Verdes Renaissance Band. You can also display and sell craft items.
The Gothic architecture of El Segundo High Schol (across the street) provides a lovely backdrop for both portraits and action shots. Mistress Eowyn Amberdrake will be taking black and white photos for use as publicity stills, and encourages other photographers to do so as well.
Schedule
- Sext (12 noon) Grand March
- 12-&-thirty Renaissance Dancing, we will encourage audience participation in simple pavanes and bransles
- 1:00 Fashion show; there will be two changing tents
- 2:00 Broadsword demonstration
- None (3 pm) Dancing
- 4:00 Closing Court
