Coronation
The Barony of Gyldenholt invites you to join us for the Coronation of of its Heirs! We will have a theme of Inspiration. We take this day of celebration to acknowledge the good nobles that have Inspired us. Tokens of thanks and kind words are encouraged. Coronation will take place at the Anaheim United Methodist Church- 1000 South State College Blvd.,Anaheim, CA 92806-4998. The Feast portion of the event will start at 5pm. For reservations or information, please email Fallcoronation@sca-gyldenholt.org with Feast in the subject area.
Coronation Feast
The final menu has been determined and tasted. The theme is German, late 16th century. The menu has been posted in English to avoid confusion. There are no nuts in the preparations except for the cooks in the kitchen. If you have a legitimate food allergy, please let me know. This is a medieval diet, there will be bread. For our vegetarian friends, there will be veggie dishes for you.
- Appetizer: Onion and cheese soup White bread with caraway seeds
- 1st course: Bratwurst (beef and pork combination) and mustard Vegetarian brats Bread dumplings with gravy Red cabbage salad
- 2nd course: Roast beef and horseradish relish Spinach, chard and cheese pie:
- vegetarian option Carrot purée Grilled mushrooms
- Dessert: Fried figs Pear tart
Queen's Champion
The Barony of Gyldenholt invites you to join us as we watch the fighters of Caid battle for the honor of being Her Majesty’s Champion. There will be lists for heavy, rapier, and youth combat.
