Though Guy Marchand de Montvert, fighting for Fiona Gregerovna, had won the Spring Coronet Tournament 1976 in May, he was unable to perform the duties of Prince of Caid due to modern-world issues. Therefore, a new Coronet Tournament was held with Sir Morven of Carrick, fighting for Bevin Fraser of Sterling, defeating Sir Hugh the Undecided.
The Coronation of Morven and Bevin took place later in the day.
Highlights
- Knighting of Armand-Sebastian de la Forêt de Savigny (later Armand de Sevigny) and Maihie McFergy, Heathen of Erin (also known as Maihe MacFergie)
- First Order of the Dolphin awarded to Bjo of Griffin (later Flavia Beatrice Carmigniani)
- New coronets for the Prince and Princess of Caid were presented by Guy Marchand de Montvert, though he would never wear one himself.
