Duke Guy of Castle Kirk, KSCA. His was previously known as Guy Marchand de Montfort, Guy Marchand de Montvert, and Guy de Montvert. His current name and device were registered in February 1986.

He was elevated to the Order of the Chivalry on September 24, 1983 by Jason II and Natalya II, King and Queen of Caid.

Guy has taken on the life-long project of building Castle Kirk as his home.

• One of my most frightening moments in the SCA was when I felt the cold iron blade of King Guy of Castle Kirk upon my neck. I am still most thankful that my life was spared, assuming it was for some great purpose I have yet to discover. (The linked song was written on the day of his coronation). Eldwin Nightowl
