Coronation is the bi-anual event wherein the new King and Queen are crowned. The day consists of three, major courts:
- The final court of the current King and Queen
- Awards are presented, specifically Signum Reginae, Sigillum Regis or Signum Regni. Final court is also a likely time for investitures to the Orders of the Chivalry, Laurel or Pelican to take place
- Presentations are made to the "retiring" monarchs
- The Scribe Armarius presents newly painted award scrolls for historical awards
- The royal court, Queen's guard and King's and Queen's champions are released from their service to the monarchs
- Coronation
- The first court of the new King and Queen
- The retired King and/or Queen are granted Royal Peerage titles, if appropriate
- The new monarchs present other awards (though, typically, not very many)
- Presentations are made to the new monarchs
Following these courts is an elaborate Feast and Revel. The Sunday following Coronation is Queen's Champion Tournament.
