The Barony of Starkhafn invites one and all to attend Her Majesty as CAID’s most puissant fighters vie to be Her Champions. Bring your banners (and kites) for a grand day honoring the inspiration of Her Majesty both on and off the field.
The event will be held at Mountain View Park, 4701 N. Durango, Las Vegas, Nevada 89129. Site will open at 8 a.m. and close promptly at 6 p.m. Opening court will be at 10 a.m., with fighting commencing immediately thereafter. Site features include large grassed areas, young trees, shade structures, a children’s play area and, for the overheated fighters and children of all ages, a mini water park.

- A pretty nice event site, and the weather was great for fighting. For the first time in five reigns I could enter the rapier list. I won one fight, vs. Grainne ingen Lasrach and I lost, but held my own, versus Don Colyn mac Labhruinn and Dona Battista de Lagos. All the fights were fun, but the one vs Battista was exceptional! (pictured at right)
- The Starkhafners set up a really nice round pavilion to house lists which were run by my Lady Cassandre and Grannie's lord Bert.
- Man was I a lousy herald that day!
