With flash of steel and flutter of banner, the fighters of the realm journey forth to the ancient and venerable Barony of the Angels to win honor and glory for their consorts, respect and renown for themselves, and the ultimate prize: the Crown and Kingdom of Caid!

On Saturday, August 21, 2010, the Barony of the Angels is proud to host the August Crown Tournament at Recreation Park in Monrovia. Come witness history in the making, from the Invocation to the Lists to the acknowledgment of Caid's heirs.

Once again, we seek List field sponsorship. All groups (territories, households, warbands, etc.) who wish to sponsor a field will be given priority placement on the eric. Sponsorship includes supplying a herald and two marshals, and hospitality (water, shade, etc.) for fighters, consorts and volunteers at that field. Additionally, decoration of the field's ropes, gates and corners, and use of your group's livery (heraldic device and/or badge) for volunteers on the field are heavily encouraged. If interested, please contact the event steward, THL Cormac Mor.

Fees: $5 (plus an additional $5 for non-members)

Schedule:

10:00 a.m. – Opening Court
