The University of Ithra at Caid, 13-14 April. To be held at UC Riverside. Friday will be set-up and a light array of classes. Saturday there will be a full schedule of interesting, informative classes, and Saturday night only a few will be available, for those enthusiastic students. Sunday a complete list of courses is planned, with classes scheduled for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There will be a special "SURVIVAL IN THE SCA" seminar for newcomers & folk who need more information about the SCA: how it runs, why & how the individual is expected to act within it. This will include one-hour lectures on everything from "Courtesy On & Off the Field" to "How to Choose a Name & Persona" to "Very Basic Heraldry" (for any who merely want to know how to design a device & how to register it correctly.)

If you have any questions which could be answered by this Special Seminar, or wish to know any information vital to your own survival in the SCA, then direct your queries to me as soon as possible so classes may be organized in time for cataloging.

Anyone with knowledge of a specialized area which they are willing to teach at Ithra, either in the regular 2 and 4 hour classes, or anything to add to the SURVIVAL IN THE SCA seminar, contact me without delay, please, so it may be added to the forthcoming catalog.
