(Personal information removed) 12TH NIGHT ON 12TH NIGHT - a feast of music, dance, and good cheer - a procession of entertainments to entice and invite

This year's Twelfth Night will be in the Great Hall of St. Paul's Cathedral in the Barony of Calafia on January 12, 1991.

Two separate dance venues will be provided, one for Court Dancing and the other for Country Dancing! Even the most vigorous of dancing spirits will be troubled to keep up.

"I...I can say no more about the coming feast. My heart yearns for it...ah but so I must wait. Then, I begin to dream of the Sun and the Moon, the colors mingling with music that stirs the soul, the rhythms that call to my feet, that set my heart dancing. The bright faces twirling and gliding across the floor, of swirling gowns and silks and glimmering gold and tinkle of silver, of music of joyous dancing, heart leaping, soaring...and then to rest and walk in the cool night air, the music echoing in the halls, lights playing with shadows. A warm hand in mine, a soft touch and warm embrace, a memory for a year and a day...ah the music, the color, the dreaming..."

The day's feasting will begin with "The Grand Buffet," a continuous serving of sundry and assorted foods, sufficiently tasty and plentiful with which to Break Fast as well as to satisfy the Afternoon's Repast. Being served from 9:00am until 5:00pm, or until such time that the food is thoroughly consumed. Items will be individually priced. Brought to you by The Abbey and Sir Mishwa.

This will be followed by "The Banquet Proper" at 5:00pm. Live music and other wonderful delights are planned to enthrall and centertain the gathered guests while they dine on a first remove of Clear Consomme and Cream Soup, followed by a second remove of Cold Salmon poached in wine and herb sauce, Citrus Salad, Rice Medley and Bread Braids. The third remove shall be Braised Chicken in Cinnamon to be followed by the fourth remove of Beefe Orlof and a Chartreuse. This will all be topped off by a Dessert which is to be a sweet surprise!

There are a variety of fees for the day's activities. Banquet Fees are $13 for members of the SCA and $15 for non-members. In addition there will be a "bring your own banquet" to be held in a separate hall. The fee is $4. Tables and chairs will be provided. For those not attending either Banquet there is a $3 Site Fee. All banquet reservations include the $3 Site Fee. Merchants are welcome to come and display their wares and services. The Booth Fee is $10.

Reservations are required for "The Banquet Proper." Please, include a name list with your paid reservations if you wish to sit as a group.
