From the Crown Prints
Come one, come all to the Canton of Summergate’s Anniversary celebration! We will celebrate May Day as we welcome in Spring, and this will be a Demo for the school as well.
$3 Adult Members; $5 Non Members; Children 12 & Under Free
Make Checks Payable to: SCA Inc./Canton of Summergate and send to: Carrie Bear.
Feast fee will be separate (more accurate info to follow).
The day is sure to be an Anniversary to remember! We will have Rapier, Heavies and the overall winner of the day will crown the May Queen! As you stroll through the fields, watching the fighters and greeting old friends, stroll on over to the vendors to buy yourself a trinket or two. And no worries about the young ones for we will have many activities, from arts and crafts to boffers, to keep them occupied! To help raise money for the Canton, we will be having an arts auction, and of course some May-inspired punch and treats, followed by a feast prepared by our very own Outdoor Cooking Guild. I am positive it will be a feast to remember!
