Fighting Ladies of CAID, we pray you join us for a day of merriment and good natured fighting. We hope to entice you with great prizes in the tradition of Steinsee, if fighting for the honor of your gender and a captaincy in Jeanne d'Arc is not enough.
We entreat all lady fighters to come and challenge Elana Blakefenn, hereditary Lioness champion, THLs Aldgytha of Ashwood and Catriona Ghabhalfhaba, the hereditary champions of Jeanne d' Arc. In fact, my ladies, we beg of you to attend the supreme lady's list in CAID.
SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY
- 7:00 am Set up
- 8:00 am Site opens
- 9:00 am Lists opens
- 10:00 am Lists close
- 10:39 am Lionesse tourney begins
- 12:00 noon Helm auction
- 1:00 pm Jeanne d' Arc Melee
- 4:00 pm Closing court / awarding of prizes
- 9:00 pm Site closes
The Canton of Steinsee is sponsoring and running the Lionesse tourney as a qualifier for our Jean d' Arc melee to select the team captains.
- Lioness: an all ladies elimination round in both heavy and light lists. We will try to stagger these for those fighters who wish to participate in both lists. If you wish to fight in the melee only, teams will be formed after the Lionesse and for those who didn't come with a team.
- Jeanne d'Arc: A Melee fight with ladies as team captains. The rest of the team may be lords or ladies. Both heavy and light lists.
- Helm auction: We will auction off the helms of the team captains. The person who has bought the captain who wins will get a fine prize
- Raffle: $1.00 per ticket, 6 for $5.00 at the troll booth. A number of prizes will be available and we will continue to draw until all are gone (winners' choice of available prizes).
- Merchants: 10 maximum, so call the merchant-o-crat, THL Krystal von Kitzingen; donation fee: a donation to prizes.
The site is shady and dogs are allowed on a leash and attended. This is a dry site.
