The Canton of Gallavally once again invites you to join in the celebration of our Anniversary.. Come up to the "Highlands of Gallavally" for a camping event the weekend of April 17-19, 2009. | |||
Saturday's activities include a bear pit, double elimination tournament, rapier, bouncy jousting, children's activities, a people's choice arts and science competition, and children activities. Master Gulliver Blackrune will host Baubling on Saturday night. | |||
The canton will also by holding a white elephant raffle. Donations are gladly accepted. | |||
A traveler's kitchen will be provided on Saturday night for campers. Please contact event stewards with questions. | |||

What I will never forget about this event was helping Master [[Damales Redbeard|Damales]] in the week before, prepare the event field for this event. It had been a dry year and the field was not as green as we had hoped for so after mowing and clearing, dust control was the concern. We spent a lot of time dragging fire hoses moving sprinklers and pulling the Water Dog (a 500 gallon water trailer) in order to get the site wet enough to not be dusty but dry enough to not be muddy. | |||
