From the Crown Prints
On Sunday, the 3rd of February, the Academy of Equestrian Arts will present a teaching seminar by Lord Damales Redbeard of Spring Creek Training Center in the Barony of Dreiburgen. Classes and practice will begin at 9:00 AM and will continue throughout the day. We will offer instruction in various forms of equitaion and the mounted tourney games, with emphasis on increasing skill in one area to improve the other. Please be on time, as the daylight wanes early this time of year.
This event is entirely dependent upon privately owned horses. No rentals will be available. There will be a limited number of extra horses, graciously offered by members of the Academy. If you wish to borrow a horse, please contact the autocrat by January 3oth, so that she can schedule you. If you'd like to participate, but don't want to ride, come and learn to become a part of the equestrian support staff.
A $2.00 site fee will be charged, proceeds to go to the Academy coffers. Overnight stabling will be available for $10.00 per horse. Those stabling horses may arrive mid-day on Saturday for a trail ride if they wish. To make stabling arrangements, contact Damales Redbeard by January 30th. Spring Creek Training Center, Winchester, CA, is a professional facility located in a rural area near Hemet, CA. Please bring your lunch and beverages forthe day, there is no fast food available in the immediate neighborhood. This seminar is for everyone. No previous riding experience is necessary.
