From the Crown Prints
On the first day of the month of November in the Year of A.S. XXI (ie November 1, 1986 the Barony of Dreiburgen will be Celebrating its anniversary. All residents of other Baronies, Shires and cantons of Caid, and all other Kingdoms, are hereby invited to travel to our fair land to join our festivities and to share in the hospitality of the Barony Dreiburgen.
The day’s activities will include the following
- Double Elimination Heavy Weapons List
- Double Elimination Shinai List
- Best Costume - Come as your favorite Saint or Sinner
- Best Feat of Magic or Conjuring
- Best Spell (in Poem Form)
- Healdrey
- Cooking – Best Cooked Item using Squash
- Pumpkin Carving ( A Dreiburgen Tradition!)
- Most Improbable Feat of Juggling
SCHEDULE OF THE DAY
- 8:30 - Site Opens for Setting Up
- 10:00 - Opening Court
- 11:00 - Heavy Weapons Combat Begins
- Afternoon - Shinai List
- 4:00 - Closing Court
- 7:00 – Revel Begins
Revel - St. Michael’s Church
The revel will be a dessert revel, and will be held at St. Michael’s Church. If you plan to attend, please bring a dessert to be serve four, or $1.00 per person. There will be a bardic circle. Please feel free to bring traditional works to share at the circle, or just listen to others perform.
Schedule:
- 7:00 - Revel Begins
- 7 - 11:30 - Dancing, Reveling, Bardic Circle
- 11:30 - Clean-up
- 12:00 - Hall Closes
