As they have for 9 times previously, the people of Darach and Isles will be meeting to express the full depth of their disgust and ptuey love and trust for each other. However, since the Parks Dept. BASEBALL-DIAMONED our SITE in the hills of Carpinteria, we will be in the Foothills of Goleta instead. The site is Stow Grove, a lovely little Redwooded park with a grassy field at the north end. Parking is along La Patera, Cathedral Oaks or in the parking lot off of La Patera.
And so, Darshlocks and Isleezians together do hereby invite all foolish brave and daring people to join them in cementing the bonds that gag of friendship. To this end, the Darshlocks will be phighting under the Proud Pink Phlamingo and the Isleezians will be defending their honor (?) 'neath the Golden Karp (sushi anyone?)

TENTATIVE CONTESTS
- Enemy Stalking (dot yur foe in provocative places)
- Poem to Your Enemy (maligning verse to those you hate)
- Pandy Bat (more deadly to wield-er than to wield-ee)
- Poison Hiding (a garlic clove hidden in a tasty morsel)
- Indigestion Table (suggest incompativle dining partners)
- Kill Thy Enemy with Kindness (no deed too icky)
- Mourning Contests (bewail the death of your noblest warrior)
- Best Ode to Enemy after Killing (immortalize your foe)
SITE FEES: Thanks to thinly veiled threats artful negotiations, AS OF THIS NOTICE THERE ARE NONE (but check next month for further information).
BYO BANQUET: Bring your own dinner/service/cleanup; 6pm set-up. Tentatively contests for best period table setting and best theme table setting (flamingos vs. carp). The tentative BYO Banquet site is on the UCSB campus where there is plenty of room for dancing and gaming (feel free to BYO chess, pente, 9-man-morris, etc.). There may be a small site fee (see above). Maps will be available onsite.
NOTE: BOTH THE PARK AND THE HALL ARE DRY!!! NOTE: NO LIVE STEEL ALLOWED IN PARK!!!
