The Canton of Eastern Gate in the Barony of the Angels put on a two-day demo at Chapman College in Orange, CA (now Gyldenholt.

Event Information
Prize contests included:
- Best Shortswordsman
- Best Lady with a Boffer
- Best Double Weapons Fighter
- Champion Protector of Naugas (whose hides were in common use in the area)
- Challenges: Fiercest, Funnies, and Best-Worded
- Most Chivalrous Fighter
- Most Artistic Death
- Most Medieval Lady in Appearance and Deed
- Golden Fox, given to the lady deemed most kissable
- On The Spot Poetry
- Poetry in Honor of a Lady (present at the event)
A potluck lunch was held on-site on Saturday. Revels were held on both Friday (12/6) and Saturday (12/7) evenings.
