THL Meave Douglass joined the SCA in 1995 as a founding member of the Incipient College of Saint Ursula. She remained active in the Barony of Calafia, until the mundane world brought her to Gyldenholt. Meave and her husband, Theo van der Zee, moved in 2005 to the Shire of Caer Adamant, in the East Kingdom, and played both there and in the Kingdom of Atlantia before returning to Gyldenholt in 2008.

Meave Douglass is a 14th Century Scot living in the Lanarkshire region. Her interests include research, natural dyes, weaving, and embroidery.
