History

I, Lady Rosie Black Rune, was raised in the SCA by my parents Baroness Tyne MacPhersone and Baron Logan Black Rune since birth. I began my SCA adventure on the Goode Ship Indigo Rose in the Barony of Angels. In 2008 my family moved to the Barony of Dreiburgen. As a young child I was raised amongst volunteers who brought me along to many of their shifts, some of these people have since become Peers. From 1998-2001 the Goode Ship Indigo Rose ran trash for Great Western War and sure enough at the young age of three, I was alongside them helping keep the war clean. By the end of the war we would have many opportunity tickets, and my favorite job to volunteer for was to call out the names for the opportunity drawing winners. I have been in love with volunteering ever since.

I have been a volunteer my entire SCA career, spending many nights walking site as a constable at Potrero War or sitting at headquarters at Great Western War. With this, I began to see a completely different side of the SCA which led to me volunteering to become an officer for the Barony I reside in.
