Dreiburgen Viking Games

On July 27 The Barony of Dreiburgen welcomes all to beautiful Lake Perris for a day of Viking fun(?). All you Fighters, here is your chance to relax with your lady and show-off those muscles that are always hidden under your armour. This site is soooo wet that we strongly recommend that you come in by longship!

Contest for the day so far include: Best Viking costume, male or female, on-the-spot embroidery, drinking, best Viking joke, bestViking saga(pome, song, story, etc.) and best rendition of a Norse God in any medium.

To help fill the baronial coffers, fruits, snacks and soft drinks will be available, you may wish to bring you own feast, as the nearest food establishment is in Sunnymead, about 3 miles away.

For those so inclined, you may bring swim wear as there is a beach area near-by. However we don’t think the Park Service would understand Viking period swim wear (or no wear, depending on how you look at it).

Notice

The Bards Guild of Dreiburgen will be sponsoring a Viking Feast for the evening meal. No reservations required.

Merchants are welcome. There are several tables 'neath the shade trees which line the tavern. No donation is required as this is intended to be a free marketplace, but it would be nice if the merchants who do well donate to the Baronial coffers. Tables are on a first come, first served basis. Note - Merchant is a general term. If you have something you want to get rid of, BRING it!
