Lady Khalida al-Khansa'

Khalida al-Khansa is a Sassinid who traveled the Silk Trade routes with her parents until disaster struck and she was kindly taken in by the Duchess Faizeh al-Zarqa. I took the surname al-Khansa, after the name of a poetess who rode with her brothers alongside Mohammed in his early spread of Islam.

I currently make my home with Kabila al-Raqs B'Saif in which I am the camp mistress. I am very interested in ensuring all guests of the house as well as everyone else I come across are taken care of: food, drink, a place to sit a bit and breath. In the fiber arts I am unofficially overseen in drop spinning and inkle weaving by Mistress Bridget however all sewing misfortunes are my own. Middle Eastern dance forms, I am under the auspices of Her Grace, Duchess Faizeh al-Zarqa.
