Caitlin is a 12th century Anglo-Saxon woman from Northumbria who manages her land holdings for her young son, and carefully maintains good relationships with neighboring Normans.

Her main art form is dramatic performance including storytelling, spoken poetry and acting. Most of her poetry and storytelling come from pre-13th century Norse and Anglo-Saxon sources. She also writes poetry and stories following the same period styles.
