Dreiburgen Summer Arts July 15, 2006

The Barony of Dreiburgen Celebrates The Summer Arts. Theme of the day: celebrating the culinary arts

Place: St. Michael’s Episcopal Church 4070 Jackson Street, Riverside The event will take place in the Parish Hall.

Schedule for the Day:

  • 9:00am Set-Up (a bit later than usual, because the church feeds the homeless on Saturday mornings if you come too early, you can always help.)
  • 10:00am-1:00pm Event begins and classes are held
  • 1:00pm Potluck luncheon
  • 2:00pm-5:00pm Classes resume
  • 5:00pm Closinc Court

Teachers Wanted: If you desire to teach, please contact the event stewards. We would love to have classes in period cooking, period brewing, cookingwith vinegars and/or alcohols, cooking with cast iron, outdoor cooking, serving at feast, et cetera. If you are out of the barony or even out of the kingdom and you want to teach a culinary arts subjects, you will be greatly appreciated.

Potluck Lunch: Please bring foods (appetizers, entrees, or desserts enough to feed 8-12 people.) Please bring a list of ingredients for each food so that those with allergies can be forewarned by reading it.

Contests: Best appetizer, best entrée, best dessert, and finally best non-alcoholic beverages. Should be period foods &/or drinks with documentation.
