An SCA demo was held on October 14, 1978 at the South Coast Plaza Village in Santa Ana, CA. Baron [[Fredrick of WoodLyn]] and Baron [[Conrad von Regensburg]] served as heralds; Lord [[Gwydiaan am y'Gorlwyn]] and Lady [[Anna McAyre of Gorabh]] were medics; Lady [[Eyana bat David]] did Lists; Lord [[Agelos Evienece]] was the Marshal; and Lady [[Hedgia du Loup]] ran the fashion show. [[James du Mer]] handed out 450 flyers at the information booth.

The winner was Baron [[Conrad von Regensburg]] for the second year in a row. He won a bottle of wine, which was appropriate because he was garbed as his alternate persona Cardinal Gloriosus.
