On October 27, 1979 Dreiburgen had it's Anniversary Tournament at Hunt Park in Riverside. There were 18 fighters.

On 27 October XIV, [[Dreiburgen will hold its Anniversary Tourney. This will be the first Dreiburgen Anniversary presided over by their Excellencies Baron Leo de Coronado and Rowena de Segovia. Come one come all, to Hunt Park in Riverside!
ITINERARY
- Tierce (9am) – Pitch thy Pavilion
- 10:00 – opening Court
- 11:00 – Armor Inspection, Lists following
- 11:00-4:00 – Various Contests
- 4:00 – closing Court
- 7:00 – Revel
CONTESTS:
Pumpkin carving (pls. bring own knife pumpkings will be supplied at 25 pence each, spons. by Baroness Rowena,
Heraldry (spons. by Hrorek Halfdane of Faulconwood),
Art (any art form depicting malignant creature or human anticipated to appear on Samhain or All Hallows Eve,
Samhain bewitching (any means to entice a man by a proper lady, Spons, by Michael de Valois),
Pandy Bat-Beasties theme (for all folk. Weapon must be used by a man-at-arms in the pandy bat melee and men-at-arms may use non-combatant entries, The opponent must not be able to keep a stgraight face; spons. by Adrian Buchanon).
REVEL: To begin following the supper break, at a site to be announced
