The Winter Hunt Weekend will take place January 25, 26, and 27, at Camp Radford in the mountains of Dreiburgen. Activities will include Stag & Boar hunts (with volunteer stags & boars), combat archery, classes in spinning/weaving, court dancing, combat with broadsword and heater, illumination and calligraphy, and wood carving. Several small Baronial projects will also be undertaken.
The cost for two nights accommodation and five meals is only $25.00. However, by the time this is printed, all 63 beds will be taken. There will undoubtedly be a few cancellations, so a waiting list will be kept. A $5 deposit will be required to maintain a sport on the waiting list. The deposit will be fully refunded if space does not become available. There will also be a limited number of 1-day "hunting licenses" available for $10 per person. This will cover the site fee, lunch and the evening banquet on Saturday. People with one-day licenses will be considered part of the waiting list unless they request otherwise.
Those interested in one-day "hunting licenses" or the waiting list should send their checks to Lord Robyn Lon Creighton of Thorndyke. Those who have signed up for the Hunt Weekend, but have not given Lord Robyn a deposit are reminded that a deposit must be received by December 29, 1984 and full payment received by Jan 10, 1985. Full refunds for cancellations will only be available until Jan 10.
