| The rules were typed in as written and published. I never really thought about whether they made sense. I believe that the point is "which events are mandatory performances" is a sub-set of "which events the Bard should attend" ... so that the King and Queen can make "command performance requests" of the Bard, but that the Bard should *BE* at 12th Night, GWW, and the competition for successor. [[Results Pentathlon]] is part of the Results template, which is designed to record winners since 1974. I linked the two to each other. There will be overlap, but probably for the best.
