Twelfth Night
This is the first major event of each calendar year. It celebrates the Feast of the Epiphany, an important holiday in Medieval Europe. Caid Twelfth Night includes a major royal court and feast. Traditionally, attendees of this event wear their most formal and elaborate costumes.
"The Southern Baronies" began hosting Twelfth Night revels in 1972 (in addition to West Kingdom Twelfth Night). Even after becoming an independant kingdom, Caid traditionally avoided hosting its Twelfth Night on the same day as that of the West Kingdom, though this practice is no longer followed.
Frequently, the Barony of Western Seas holds a separate Twelfth Night revel. While a part of the Kingdom of Caid, the Barony of Southron Gaard occasionally held a separate Twelfth Night revel.
