Memories
- Those that put this on did an amazing job to put on a fine event across two different sites. Some of the hardest workers were behind the scenes and were never seen. This seems all too common in such a large event with so many people involved. On a sad note, I ended up being a bit of a wet blanket on two occasions. At one point, the Caidan Crescents (youth) found an alcove with a statue of Jesus in the Garden. They began using the statue as a slide and were having a lot of fun... but... I suggested to those in charge that the Church may not feel comfortable with it. Other activities were found. The second occasion was the outside partying and revel on the front lawn of the church. We had a drum circle and belly dancers. Everyone was having a GREAT time. It was so much fun that we were getting honks from passing cars and people were stopping their cars on the street just to watch. Again, with a certain amount of regret, I mentioned to those in charge that it would probably be best if we moved our party and dancers off of the street. The person I talked to looked surprised, then looked at the cars and said, "Yeah." And the party moved and continued inside. ~ Eadwynne of Runedun
