The Canton of Steinsee held their Anniversary on January 20, There were approximately 60 people in attendance. There were 9 heavy weapons fighters and 6 Rapier.

The Canton of Steinsee invites you to join us in celebration of our anniversary at beautiful Covington Park in Morongo Valley for a day of fun, fighting and archery – followed by an evening of feasting and merriment! There will be a fox hunt!, and games!, and Prizes!, and, ah, something about a dragon!

Schedule for the Day:

8:00 am – Site Opens, Lists Open
10:00 am – Opening Court, List close
4:00 pm – Closing court
5:00 pm – Feast
10:00 pm – Site Closes

The feast will be a Scottish theme with such dishes as Beef Haggis, Beef Stew, Baked Leeks, Colconan, Clootie Dumplings, Oat Cakes, Baps, Orange Shortbread, etc. Feast reservations are limited to 50.
