Can you really trust a Barony over 30? Come to Starkhafn’s 30th Anniversary celebration and find out! Enjoy a splendiferous spring weekend of camping, fighting, arts events, food, and fun under the trees at Petrack Park in Pahrump NV.

The Baronial Champions in Rapier, Armored Combat, Archery, Thrown Weapons, Equestrian, and Boffers will be determined. In keeping with tradition, the Armored Combat Champion must slay the fearsome dragon (a painfully long list of rules and restrictions apply, developed over the Barony’s 30 years – come to the event for all the comic details). Equestrians are invited to compete in not one but two prestigious tourneys, as Starkhafn hosts the Kingdom’s Spring Equestrian Championship as well as its own Baronial championship. Bring your noble steed and vie for the honors!

The Barony continues its search for the most well-rounded martial artist, with the second annual Quintivium. The fighter who competes in the most events – Armored Combat, Rapier, Archery, Thrown Weapons, and Equestrian – will be named the Quintivium Champion.

And now that the Barony has reached the age of wisdom, a new A&S competition will be inaugurated. Here’s your chance to display your body of work and become the Barony’s first Flame Artisan!

Site: Petrack Park, 400 North Highway 160, Pahrump NV 89115.

Fees: Adult members, $15; youth aged 8-18, $7; children under age 8 are guests of the Barony. Family cap (immediate family only) is $37. Day Rate is $8.00. There is a $5 surcharge for adults who cannot present proof of membership at the gate. If you wish to share in the Saturday night feast, there will be an additional charge of $5 per person.

If you are bringing a horse from out-of-state, please remember that you must have a current health certificate and Coggins test. Weekend stabling is available on site for $10. The Site opens at 3pm on Friday, April 27 and closes at 5pm on Sunday, April 29. There is ample room for camping, but if you prefer, there are several hotels nearby.

The Parks Department is requesting that we provide the license numbers of vehicles that will be parked overnight two weeks prior to the event. We will have a limited number of overnight parking permits at gate on the starting day, but it would be best if the license information was already on hand. Please send your license information to the event stewards!
