From the Crown Prints
The Barony of Calafia would like to invite one and all to join us in a fund-raising Ransom Tournament on March 22, 2008, to benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. This Tournament will feature Armored and Rapier lists, where fighters will have the opportunity to buy their way into additional “lives” in the tournament, with all proceeds going to benefit St. Jude’s. The event will be held at Allied Gardens Recreation Center, 5155 Greenbrier Avenue, San Diego, CA 92120. More details about the structure of the tournament and the day’s activities are available on Calafia’s website: www.calafia.org
There will be no site fee for this event, but donations towards St. Jude’s will be most gladly appreciated. All non-members will be asked to sign a waiver on site.
Schedule of the Day:
- 8:00 a.m. Site opens for setup
- 10:00 a.m. Tournament begins
- 2:00 p.m. Tournament ends
- 4:00 p.m. Site closes
