Highlights
Event was held on Lassen Road in Chatsworth, CA (now in Altavia). There was archery, Lists for the Champion of the Day, dancing, and a recorder concert. A revel was held that evening.
Event Description From: The Page (April, 1971)
SPRING TOURNEY - BARONY OF THE ANGELS April 17, 1971
The Procession will go forward at 11:00 a.m., the fighting will begin at noon. There will be archery during the fighting, followed by dancing. Ending the Tourney proper will be a recorder concert. Then will begin the revel, at which the Champion of the Day will receive more food than he can eat and the adoration of the mob (not necessarily in that order.) We hope that the Barony will continue to be graced by the presence of fighters and notables from both of the Western Kingdoms at its principal tourneys, and all are invited to grace us with their presence. It is recommended that travelers come in on the coast route to the Ventura and off at Topanga Blvd. (other directions omitted)
