Do you REALLY believe that the Lancastrians won the War of the Roses in 1487? Here is a chance to change History! Don a red rose for the House of Landcaster, or a white rose for the House of York, and join us for the Canton of Mons Draconis Anniversary.
We are planning a full day of events for your competitive pleasure. Fighting will include rapier and Heavy weapons scenarios. Those of you who prefer to distinguish yourselves in thr realm of Arts & Sciences can choose from several contests as well. We will give prizes for Best Example of a Rose in an Edible Media, Best Example of Period Braids, and Best Presentation of a Rose in a Non-edible Media.
Artisitc entries should include a 4X6 card of basic documentation: Description of item, Material used. For period documentation give the name of the sorce (I.e., book or journal), the author and page number.
Event Site: Hunt Park, 4015 Jackson Street, Riverside, CA 92504. This is a dry site. Regretfully, no merchants are allowed.
