The Caidan Roses first annual Rose Tournament at Great Western War 2008. The prize was a fabulous Klaus von Mainz box. Many thanks to all the marshals that volunteered and to Duke Dietrich and Viscountess Krysta for their field heraldry work, and to Duke Guillaume for his court heraldry work.

Caidan Roses Tournament, Armored Combat Tournament Field: The Caidan Order of the Rose will be sponsoring our first armored combat tournament at Great Western War XI. To fight in this tournament the participant must be sponsored by a Lady of the Rose who will be attending the tournament. A Lady of the Rose may sponsor one unbelted fighter and one belted fighter. This tournament will be fought in double-elimination format. For more information please contact Duchess Faizeh al-Zarqa, Rose Tourney Sponsor. We look forward to meeting our sisters of the Known Worlde, and watching combat inspired by the best of honor and chivalry.

Armored Combat Lists

Since this tournament was run in speed tourney format, we only have the list results for the four finalists. Both Sven and Malachi were undefeated, while Savaric and Edric each had one loss when entering into the final four.

Each Lady of the Rose was allowed to sponser one belted fighter and one unbelted fighter. Her Majesty and Her Highness varied slightly from this pattern.
