Attention Caidan Europeans and other non-Oriental personas! Are the Japanese taking over your best tourney sites? Do the Mongols always out-do your barbecues? Do the Chinese throw better New Year celebrations?
Attention Caidan Oriental personas!! Fellow Nippons, do you disdain the warmed-up fish (Gulp!) consumed by Europeans in a zenless and undignified society without discipline? Mongols, do you tire of the over-dressed and perfumed limey-tea bag courtiers of the European courts? Honorable Chinese, do you often ram your fire-chariots into those Europeans due to their poor driving habits?
The Barony of the Angels is proud(?) to conduct a light-weapons tournament where EAST MEETS WEST!!
(And the East will show the Westerners how to do things the "right" way) at the second annual Oriental Tournament to be held at Sequoia Park at the intersection of Ridgecrest and Crest-Vista on February 23, 1991, in the city of Monterey Park, the same site of last year's fun-filled and challenging event.
Join Angels' finest Orientals for a day of Zen relaxation, fine arts, unusual contests, and a light-weapons tourney to satisfy even a mutant ninja's appetite, including our traditional obstacle course, topknot mad-dog melee and a double elimination shinai list to determine who is more superior...East or West??
